Brenda Bocanegra

Brenda currently serves Avenue in the role of HR Manager, with a focus on managing all human resources functional areas, employee career life cycle management, REDI facilitation and Culture Team. Prior to joining Avenue, she worked at Catholic Charities, where she served as the Vice President of Human Resources and Employee Engagement. Brenda is a certified senior professional in HR (SPHR), has a Master’s of International Business from The University of St. Thomas, speaks four languages, and is a native Houstonian. She has served as a trusted HR advisor and partner for diverse workforces in mid-size to large organizations in energy, education, call center, and nonprofit sectors. Brenda brings to Avenue a wealth of well-rounded HR knowledge and experience.
