Houston’s Northside Honors History, Culture With 7th Annual Sabor Del Northside

Free Resident-Led Festival Brings Community Together at Castillo Park

WHAT

On Saturday, April 7, the Northside community will come together for the 7th annual Sabor Del Northside Festival, a free public celebration for the whole family that honors the neighborhood’s vibrant history and culture. Residents attending the Saturday afternoon festival at Castillo Park can enjoy live music and dance performances, food trucks, merchandise vendors, a pop-up bike lane, live mural paintings, the Telemundo Street Team, a children’s area, arts and crafts activities, a student art show and salsa tasting contest.

Sabor Del Northside is supported by Avenue as part of the ongoing effort to preserve the heritage and culture of Houston neighborhoods and improve the quality of life. This year’s celebration is sponsored by Legacy Community Health, HCC Northeast, MD Anderson, White Oak Music Hall, AARP, St. Arnold’s Brewery, and more.
