Avenue offers education and counseling in asset building to help low- to moderate-income Houstonians improve their economic circumstances. Our HomeOwnership Center on Quitman Street provides year-round HUD-certified homebuyer and homeowner education, home preservation and foreclosure prevention counseling, and financial capability coaching. Through these services we help Houstonians strengthen their finances by improving credit scores, increasing savings, paying down debt, and engaging in the mainstream financial market to build assets for the long term.
