Avenue works with communities to obtain historic designations. These designations build camaraderie between residents, help protect and improve property values, and incentivize economic activity.

To date, we have supported the following successful designation: 

Near Northside Historic District

• Roughly bounded by Little White Oak Bayou on the north, Hogan on the south, I-45 on the west, and the block between N. Main and Keene
• Listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 29, 2010
