Avenue CDC’s development program utilize “green building” techniques and materials to make our homes healthier for our buyers as well as better for the environment.   All new Avenue CDC homes are Energy Star certified, reducing utility usage and saving the residents $200-$400 in utility costs annually per the U.S. Department of Energy.

As Houston’s first affordable LEED® for Homes™ registered subdivision, Avenue Place is leading the way in sustainable, quality housing.  Avenue Place is also utilizing seven unique and appropriately green house plans designed specifically for the urban life style. With a total of 95 homes to be built, complete with a community park and walking trail, residents of Avenue Place will enjoy a selection of classic traditional and newly-introduced contemporary housing styles.
